Pakbet with chorizo
Ingredients;
String beans 100g cut in 1 1/2inches
Squash 100g sliced and cut according to your preferred size
Eggplant 1pc sliced, cut diagonally
Ampalaya (Bittergourd) 1pc small cut diagonally
Okra 3pcs cut in 1inch
You can also buy all of the above since most marketplace already sells cut vegetables
for pakbet, chopsuey, etc. They sell for about P20 half a kilo just like what I used for
this recipe.
Chorizo de bilbao 1 pc sliced diagonally
Magic sarap 1 pack (small)
Soy sauce 2tbsp
Sugar 1tbsp
Water 1 cup
Shrimp cube 1pc
Red onion 1pc diced
Garlic 4 cloves minced
Tomato 1pc medium size diced
Ginger 3 sliced pcs
Serving-4
Procedures;
Saute onion, garlic, ginger and tomato (in that order).
Add chorizo de bilbao, stirring occasionally
Add soy sauce, sugar, water, shrimp cubes. Bring to a boil
Then add the string beans, ampalaya and squash. Heat through for about 2 minutes.
Then put in the eggplant and okra, add magic sarap and let boil for 1 minute, stirring lightly.
Serves best with white rice........Enjoy.....
